Ever since I came back from kamp, I’ve been mindful to pray to the Lord throughout my day. It’s definitely something that I’ve struggled with because I always just felt like I was talking to myself. But to be in constant prayer during the day has brought me a peace that I’ve never felt before. I no longer stress over petty things or get upset because I know that the Lord is with me and what happens is His will. When there are instances that I feel like I might have a freakout moment, I just pray that the Lord calms my nerve and that I know he will never abandon me. These everyday moments ultimately don’t determine where my everlasting life will be.Although I still need to care about stuff like grades and responsibilities, it’s always in the back of my mind that these things aren’t important to God. My obedience to Him is.
